How to request deletion
Email hello@toastpetal.com with the subject "Delete my data", from the email address you paid with, or include your workspace link. Because we have no accounts, one of those two is how we identify your records.
What gets deleted
- Your intake answers, including every story you wrote.
- Your free preview text.
- All three speech versions and every edit.
- Your purchase record and workspace token, which permanently disables the link.
Download anything you want to keep first. Deletion is irreversible and we cannot recover a deleted speech.
What we have to keep
Stripe retains the transaction record independently of us, for tax and anti-fraud purposes. We cannot delete that, and neither can they on request. It contains your payment details and email address, not your speech.
Timing
We action deletion requests within 30 days, and usually within one business day.
