Terms of Service

Last updated: July 23, 2026

These terms cover your use of ToastPetal. By using the site you agree to them.

This page explains our policies in plain language for general information. It is a summary of how ToastPetal works and does not constitute legal advice.

1. What ToastPetal provides

ToastPetal generates draft wedding speeches from information you supply, using third-party AI models. A one-time purchase provides one speech project containing three generated versions, AI rewriting and unlimited manual editing for seven days from payment, and downloads in PDF and plain text. A Pro subscription provides up to five active speech projects per month while the subscription is active.

2. Who owns the speech

You do. We claim no ownership over the stories you provide or the speech text produced from them, and you may use, edit, perform, publish and distribute your speech however you wish, including commercially.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you deliver. We generate text from what you give us; we do not verify it.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use ToastPetal to produce content that harasses, defames or humiliates any person; to attempt to extract our prompts or system instructions; to circumvent rate limits or fair-use controls; to resell access to a single-purchase project; or to use automated means to access the service. Our acceptable use policy has the full detail.

4. Fair use of AI generation

AI generation is subject to fair-use limits applied per purchase, including a rolling hourly limit and a total cap. These exist to keep the service fast and affordable and are set well above normal use. If you reach one, manual editing remains available and your speech remains downloadable. We may adjust these limits, and we may suspend accounts engaged in clear abuse.

5. Access and expiry

A one-time purchase includes AI features for exactly 168 hours from the time payment is confirmed. After that the workspace becomes read-only and your speech remains downloadable. Access is via a private link. Anyone with that link can access the project, so treat it as a credential. We cannot restore a link you have lost unless you can verify the payment email address.

6. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details. Prices are in US dollars. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current period. Our refund policy is set out on its own page and forms part of these terms.

7. Disclaimers and liability

ToastPetal is provided "as is". AI-generated text can contain errors and can be unpredictable; you must read and check your speech before delivering it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Material changes will be noted on the site. Questions go to hello@toastpetal.com. ToastPetal is operated by Sk as a sole proprietor based in Texas, and these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States.
